National Children’s University certificates – ‘National Awards’ – have been established to acknowledge, record and celebrate participation and achievement in quality out-of-school-hours learning. Children's University certificates are awarded for participation in 30 hours (Bronze), 65 hours (Silver) or 100 hours (Gold) of voluntary learning. Certificates are typically presented to children at ‘graduation’ ceremonies in or with the support of real ‘grown-up ’ universities.
