Our 'TechnoMoves' module works with children exploring creative movement using a series of Feldenkrais-based exercises especially adapted for young people and contact improvisation. In a series of four two hour sessions, the children will explore different movement ideas using inter-active software to create images and stories. At the end of this series, the children will present their work to a selected audience.
The University Centre, Doncaster is one of the few higher education establishments in the UK to develop the use of interactive software such as Isadora and Calypso with Theatre and Dance students.
This is a four-week project with children working on discovery through movement.
