Big Adventures in a Miniature World and Environmental Art
These activities introduce children to the exciting environment of the nature reserve, stimulating their creativity and awareness of the natural world. The first brings them closer to the natural world, seeing creatures they may never have noticed before, whilst the second encourages them to express themselves in relation to the natural world. Both aim to generate questions and develop problems solving skills. All activities are designed to stimulate the children’s interest in and understanding of wildlife and the natural world, which could potentially lead to further learning / engagement with activity at the reserve or similar places.
