Activities at the Havercroft & Ryhill Sports and Youth Centre
The Havercroft and Ryhill Sports Centre provides an exciting wide range of activities and opportunities for children of all ages and abilities. To help children learn new skills, become part of a team, develop social life, and keep fit. Children can attend any club. Majorettes for 4-14 year olds where they learn to march, throw batons and practice ahead of competitions. Activities promote teamwork and individual development. Youth Club for 8-13 year olds where children can develop their baking skills and create art work which is displayed on the walls. Mulberry Sports Club for children with learning difficulties 4-14 years where they can engage in any of the available activities. Grassroots football team for 5-7 year olds. Wheels for all – biking club. Fleets of bikes and helmets are available for everyone. Children take away the skills to enjoy dance, gymnastics, biking and sports and the importance of exercise on the body throughout life.
