Potter's Wheel Workshop
Children will learn how to throw a pot on the potters wheel under supervision & with guidance. We encourage children to be creative & experiment with different forms & shapes. Option 1: Single Pot Throw & Decorate Workshop Throw a single pot on the wheel and then spend time afterwards decorating it using coloured slips and sponges. We'll fire and glaze it for a permanent ceramic finish and it will be ready to collect from the studio approx 4 weeks later. A great option for children & adults just wanting to try the wheel once! Option 2: 75 Minute Potter's Wheel Taster Workshop Extended version of option 1 - Our 75 minute potter's wheel taster sessions introduce you to the basic steps of how to throw on the potter's wheel. Receive a demonstration of the pot throwing process, then get hands-on and have fun practicing your pottery skills with an experienced tutor on hand offering practical tips and guidance. You may create as many pots as you wish using an unlimited supply of clay. All activities are done on site.
