Almost Always Muddy by Likely Story and Kirsty Harris
Almost Always Muddy is an interactive theatre show, where children lead the play. In the first half they work with the facilitators to build the world of the play from a junkyard of specially prepared plants, pallets, barrels and many other delights – it’s like a giant Meccano set. In the 2nd half the facilitators tell the story of Paper Bag Girl and her search for Courage. The children can both watch and be part of the story, which explores risk, building and adventure. At the end Children’s University can take home a sheet to draw / write down the story that they created to take into school.
