Archery
Educate young people in the safe practice of sports participation and leadership, providing them with new experiences delivered in a safe and fun learning environment. Aid development of young people’s personal skills including; confidence building, skill acquisition and communication skills through engaging activities. Expand participant’s knowledge base, wider than what is covered in school curriculum. Sportspark enables children or young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education, outdoor leisure and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity. Safe practice and use of the archery equipment is taught in depth, creating a safe environment for children to progress and develop. Archery provides a unique opportunity for young people traditionally seen as ‘un-sporty’ to achieve and progress in sport and subsequently enjoy the benefits of physical activity.

Badminton
Educate young people in the safe practice of sports participation and leadership, providing them with new experiences delivered in a safe and fun learning environment. Expand participant’s knowledge base, wider than what is covered in school curriculum. Sportspark enables children or young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education, outdoor leisure and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity. Sportspark is keen to encourage young people to take part in badminton as it is a sport that is highly accessible to all, and being offered on a pay-n-play basis at the majority of sport centres. Sportspark strongly believes it is important to get children enthused by playing sports like badminton young to encourage them to continue to take part into adulthood even just on a casual basis. Through this, Sportspark aims not only to help children enjoy the benefits of physical activity but also aid children in creating a healthy habit for life.

Christmas Taster Sessions
On Monday the 19th, Tuesday the 20th and Wednesday the 21st December, there will be FREE workshops for Climbing, Squash and Badminton for Children's University members.

Climbing
All activities delivered on-site. ‘The Peak' – the largest indoor climbing wall in Norfolk with Bouldering Cave, overhang and routes to challenge all levels of ability. Sportspark enables children or young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education, outdoor leisure and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity. Safe practice and use of the climbing wall and equipment is taught in depth, creating a safe environment for children to progress and develop their climbing skills.

Fit Kidz
Educate young people in the safe practice of exercising in a fitness centre, learning how to confidently use the variety of equipment and exercise machines. The course provides young people with the knowledge and awareness of how to work towards specific exercise goals as well as understand the importance of exercising. Aid development of young people’s personal skills including; confidence building, skill acquisition and communication skills through engaging activities. Expand participant’s knowledge base, wider than what is covered in school curriculum. Sportspark enables children and young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity. Sportspark is keen to encourage young people to take part in fitness based exercises as attending gyms and fitness facilities is something that is highly accessible to all. Sportspark strongly believes it is important to get children enthused by exercising young to encourage them to continue to take part into adulthood even just on a casual basis. Through this Sportspark aims not only to help children enjoy the benefits of physical activity but also aid children in creating a healthy habit for life.

Gymnastics
Educate young people in the safe practice of sports participation and leadership, providing them with new experiences delivered in a safe and fun learning environment. Aid development of young people’s personal skills including; confidence building, skill acquisition, time management, teamwork and leadership skills through engaging activities and opportunities for children to take on different roles and responsibilities. Provide opportunities for young people to obtain National Governing Bodies of Sport achievement awards or activator certificates. Expand participant’s knowledge base, wider than what is covered in school curriculum. Through the variety of activities on offer to 5-14 year olds at the Sportspark gymnastics centre beginners the Sportspark enables children or young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education, outdoor leisure and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity. Safe practice and use the gymnastics equipment is taught in depth, creating a safe environment for children to progress and develop their gymnastics skills.

Junior Climbing Club
Junior climbing club members have progressed from our junior and improver courses and are therefore confident climbing. These club sessions give young people the opportunity to climb in a safe environment amongst climbers of the same ability under the supervision of qualified coaches. The club further aids the development of young people’s personal skills including; confidence building, skill acquisition, teamwork and leadership skills through engaging activities. Being experienced climbers, more emphasis is on working as a team and communicating with each other to ensure all participants get the most out the sessions. Expand participant’s knowledge base, wider than what is covered in school curriculum. Sportspark enables children or young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education, outdoor leisure and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity. Through the variety of activities on offer to 5-14 year olds at the Sportspark from climbing to gymnastics and dodgeball to rounders, the Sportspark enables children or young people to develop their skills and knowledge relevant to their physical education, outdoor leisure and sport studies as well as increase their enjoyment of participating in sport and awareness of the importance of physical activity.

Swimming lessons
Sportspark Splash learn to swim programme follows the ASA Aquatic Framework catering for Stages 1-7 & 8-10 Competitive & Rookie Lifeguard. Ages are from 4yrs + with ratios of 1:6 for stages 1-4 and 1:8 for stages 5-7. Lessons are at the Sportspark and at City Academy School. Open to all members and non-members. Holiday intensive courses as well as swim camps are also available.
