Craft-based Workshop
Craft-based workshop based around an exhibition or theme at the Museum. Children will have the opportunity to work together or individually to create a piece or complete a task, taught within the context of a theme or exhibition. During this activity, children will develop new craft skills and practise existing ones whilst learning about the surrounding context, broadening their knowledge and understanding.

Trails based around exhibitions or galleries at the Museums. Children will have the opportunity to discover more about exhibitions and galleries using a question and information trail to focus their learning.

Object handling workshop
Object handling workshop where children will be able to study and analyse historical artefacts through close study and touch. During this activity, children will develop deductive skills whilst increasing their knowledge and understanding of a particular historical period.

Performance/Story-telling Activity
Performance/ story-telling workshop where children listen and interact to a particular story from History or from Literature. During this activity, children will develop listening skills and increase in confidence whilst broadening their knowledge and understanding.
